Even I don’t believe that I have been in independent practice for ten years. Still, this month will mark that anniversary for HiQ Analytics, llc. There are many people to whom I owe thanks and a tremendous debt of gratitude.
First, I must thank my mother and her sisters. Smart, strong and supportive women who called me each day during my decision process to assure me that I would not starve to death. They remain my “board of directors.”
Thanks to my uncle for his constant interest and sharing his experiences and insights.
Thank you to Richard Shirey, my first client.
Thank you to Robyn Weinstein and Ed Bettenhausen for encouragement and the laptop loan.
Thank you to Felicia Bloom for inviting me to moderate a panel which led to my longest continuous client relationship.
Thank you to Bill Wellman for assembling a group of young professionals who have managed to stay in touch wherever our careers have taken us and now I am proud to call many of them clients.
Thank you to Laura Corridon for “extremely reasonably priced” legal advice.
Thank you to Felicia, Tracy, Dalia, Kathleen, Rachel and Ruth for providing first impressions on marketing materials and websites as well as encouragement.
Thank you to my network … we are in “this” together.
And, thank you to all my clients. I have enjoyed all my engagements over these past 10 years. I appreciate the confidence you have shown in me and the opportunities to help you with projects.
I look forward to continuing to service the health care industry.
A most humble thanks.
